I have removed the DOCTYPE declaration. I do not know why Firefox chocked on that one. Since a while, we have been using universal code which was fitting all browsers. This should be ok in Firefox now.

As for the authentication failure, I haven't done anything in regards to that since a while. I suspect there is a high level of security in place in that browser. Did you install any security software recently? It seems the cookie is not being kept in your browser.
