Yeah in addition to the devaluation of the US dollar, the Norwegian Kroner is getting stronger with the rising oilprice. I remember when the gas was about 5 times more in Norway.

I talked to some Norwegian customers that came here a while back and I asked them how they liked the exchange rate. They just laughed and said there was a 50% discount on the dollar.

Now the exchange rate is really going to suck for me when I go visit my family in July :(

>Everyone always forgets about the devaluation of the dollar. The only accurate comparison is one I saw (not recent) that showed the price in most countries at the equivalent U.S. dollar rate. Our gas is typically MUCH more expensive NOW. I don't see the value of the dollar going up any time soon either.

>>>What is the price of gas in Norway now? Around $10/gal I think. I usually tell people about the gas prices abroad when I hear them complain :)
