The current price of gas here is around 1.45$/liter (or 5.48$/gallon). 1 Canadian dollar = 0.99552 U.S. dollars. So a gallon of gas here cost around $5.50 US.
From what I could find here
http://www.fuelgaugereport.com/sbsavg.asp, you pay $3.92 US for a gallon of gas.
I'm forced to conclude that we pay 40% more than you for the same product... ;)
>Everyone always forgets about the devaluation of the dollar. The only accurate comparison is one I saw (not recent) that showed the price in most countries at the equivalent U.S. dollar rate. Our gas is typically MUCH more expensive NOW. I don't see the value of the dollar going up any time soon either.
