Bellville is about 100mi northwest of here. We are about 30mi west of Topeka.

This area has been getting hammered more than usual this year by wind, hail, and tornados. Last weekend we had storms come through that had baseball size hail and 100mph wind. Luckily we didn't get any hail at the house and all we had to do was listen to the house shake for a couple of hours from the wind. A few miles west they have designated areas where they can tow vehicles that have been smashed by hail for insurance claims. There are hundreds in one field that we saw.
