>Normally, I turn my furnace off from about May 10 to mid-October. This year I turned it off on schedule, but we've had a few quite cool days in a row, and the temperature in my house dropped to 13C. I just this evening had to turn the furnace back on for a couple of hours - the first time in years I've had to do that in June. It's been cold over here too, on the east side of the Cascades. Low temps in the low 40's (around 6C or 7C) and highs only in the 50's (13C, 14C). And rainy and wet on top of it all. Definitely NOT normal for this time of year!!!
We didn't let our house get quite as cold as you did before we put the heat back on, though ... 62 I think (16C).
