Greetings,

I want to test the connection to a biometric device connected via a serial/usb cable connection.

When I type:
oComm = Createobject('MSCOMMlib.MSComm')

I get this message:
Class definition MSCOMMLIB.MSCOMM is not found.

The ActiveX control is registered and included in the default controls for VFP on my machine?

I see examples all over this site of developers doing this with no problem. So, what is MY problem in trying to do this?
