They don't seem so temporary to me ;).

We just had 37/feels like 40 here yesterday, and today isn't any better. It's too hot to even go to the beach - and some desperado has just fired up a barbecue outside, the whole neighborhood smells like oil refinery refuse on fire. Poor guy, I hope there's someone nearby who can do CPR.
