Could have worked, except it's an MDI application, with multiple forms possibly open, some that are not MDI children. It becomes a mess... So the shape might not actually cover the entire application if the user "moved" some windows around.
>How about placing an opaque shape topmost on the form instead of minimising. Have clicking the shape fire the login...
