Yes I think I have heard that there are more "Norwegians", i.e., of Norwegian decent, in WI and MN than in Norway.

I take my family to Stoughton every year for their 17th of May celebration (Norway's independence day). I see more Norwegian flags in Stoughton that I recall seeing in Norway on 17th of May.
