Dear All,
I need standard C/S scenario with multiple backends.
But twist is that I actually need to connect to 2 identicaly structured Oracle databases from within the same application and within the
same building. I mean not in the same time; Employees from part A) will log to one, and Part B) will log to another.
While I could use 2 servers machines with 2 identical structured databases and then presmably switch connection to use one DSN or the another, I am wandering if there is any other viable solution which would keep both databases on the same server, while application can safely switch between them.
Can this be done with multiple 'instances' on Oracle Server ? What is the best way to establish Oracle server setup,
So standard ntier C/S approach will work smooth. (C/S will probably use all 'guns' occasionaly ; r-views, CAs, SPT)
Also, Which ODBC dreiver would yu reccomend from your experiences ?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
