Well, once again, I will try to tap into the knowledgebase of this forum for some much needed answers.

I have most of my time card processing program working, but am at a loss as to how to handle on situation.

We have three different types of data for employees clocking in:
(1) Scheduled Start Time-this is "sometimes" in a field called Employee.ShStrt.
(2) Actual Start Time
(3) Effective Start Time, which is one of the two above choices.

We have three different types of data for employees clocking out:
(1) Scheduled End Time
(2) Actual End Time
(3) Effective End Time, which is one of the two above choices.

We have no problem in determining the Scheduled Start Time; however, we do have a problem in determining the Scheduled End Time. We use this value to determine whether or not the employee clocked out early or late.

We know the actual end time, based on the clock out, but we need to know the time the employee should have clocked out. My predecessor just added 8 hours to the Scheduled Start Hour to determine the Scheduled End Hour. Unfortunately, some people work 6, 7, or 8 hours, and some others may work 10 to 12 hours, so adding 8 hours doesn't quite cover all circumstances.

I need the Scheduled End Hour and Scheduled End Minute to determine if the employee was early or late in clocking out.
