Why shoudn't they get the virgins? The Qur'an has enough words to struggle (similar to the bible) and if this not enough, just remeber basic principles:

Me and my village aginst the world
Me and my familly against the village
Me and my brother against the familly
Me against my brother

There is enough space for martyrdom. Especialy if the virgins are waiting ....
