Yes, it's set so that you MUST install IE4, even though it seems only used for Help. We tried to avoid the IE4, too, as our LAN has installed a specially modified IE4 version they advised us not to mess with. I've done two vfp6 installs with the CD IE4 now, though, without any trouble, and it seems the only way to get vfp6 to installed...
