It means absolutely nothing. That is the problem. I agree with you 100%.

Some argue that if crimes are committed when the person is under the influence of drugs, that should be a mitigating factor. I disagree. I read once that the highest number of repeat offenders are drug users. Unless your own life or someone else's was threatened at the time (the only mitigating circumstance that I can think of), the time still must be served.

As for her, look at the viciousness of the crime if nothing else. No way should she be let out.
