At my client's office I have a simple 1 database VFP cumstomer application on a Win98 300Mhz machine with 64Megs RAM. There are 3 other Win95 machines running the program and sharing the databases over the peer to peer network. The Win95 machines are only running 16 Megs of RAM.

When anyone starts adding or doing query's on the Win95 machines program locks up or generates various errors. I checked the network cables and they are all fine. I'm starting to think this is a memory problem on the Win95 machines. Is 16 megs simply not enough for VFP apps.?

I was also using TABLEUPDATE(2) on saving records and TABLEUPDATE(1) when deleting records. I have changed these to be TABLEUPDATE(.T.), not sure if it makes a diffenence.

Has anyone had similar problems with VFP on a peer to peer on Win95/Win98 or does anyone an idea why this might be happening?
