I know all the .Net versioning is confusing...

Visual Studio 2005 shipped with:
C# 2.0
VB 8.0
.Net Framework 2.0

When Vista was released, an updated .Net Framework 3.0 was shipped, but the languages were not versioned.

The current versions, shipping with Visual Studio 2008 are:

C#: 3.0
VB: 9.0
.Net Framework 3.5
