See, it's just like rhubarb. People tell me all the time that they love rhubarb. Then they prove it by cooking rhubarb and pouring on sugar or whatever else to kill the taste of the rhubarb.
If it's not edible without adulteration, then it's not something I'm interested in eating. If it tastes good on its own, then fine, put whatever else you want on it, but the idea that it only tastes good if it's got something else on it to change its natural taste is just wrong.
