Yep, BoundColumn was set to 1. Yes, the EMPLOYEE # field is 4 characters. I don't know how they've had this form this way for so many years and no one ever complained about it not working properly until today. I removed the ControlSource="EMPLOYEE" and also removed the "EMPLOYEE." from the ROWSOURCE property. The form and the listbox now appear to be working properly.
