Not that we think there isn't a place for such a project; it's just that we don't want to cut into the sales of an already limited VFP marketplace for commercial vendors.

Hi Doug,

Thanks for clarification and invitation.
I must admit that I overreacted little bit because it sounded to me a bit like a totally undeserved 'VFPX cold feet' up front,
and as every author being emotionally involved with his own work, I replied a bit extensively.

This project pretty much share goals of VFPX and even adhere itself to this what you mentioned 'non competing' philosophy,
however at this point I am simply not ready to expose source there. There are also other reasons for keeping it sort of independent.
Havent even really decided yet what is the best way to proceed with all this.

I will however keep this invitation as they say 'in an envelope'. I do appreciate and respect it highly.
If my personal circumstances prevent me from continuing on this source/project then I will not hesitate to use it.
ReportSculptor Foundation Project will be always available for VFP community :)

And of course, when you get chance/time please have look at it.
Not meny people are even interested in reporting, as something 'dull' that we all just 'need to do'
whereas You are directly involved in Reporting Product and aware of complexities and challenges.
Feedback from someone like You would be of great value to me for improving this project.
