Unlimited range, meaning that unlike the weak and the strong force, it can go pretty far.

Of course, light travels through space, so it can only travel where there is space, so to speak. If the Universe curves back on itself - I am not sure whether this question is settled yet - then light should eventually return to its starting point. Except that the expansion of the Universe is so fast that this is not possible.

It certainly seems to be much bigger than what was once believed. As far as scientists can see, space appears "flat" on a large scale.
