No I did not try that for 2 reasons:

1. I am using the VFE framework and although it is probably possible I have never tried to override the frameworks error ha.ndling.

2. The error occurs on the REPORT FORM... line and by then I have would need to back out of a lot of saves, etc so it would just be better if I could check the status prior to building the checks, etc that would be printed.
