Nope, you should live with it.
Often Different Backups, or as Naomi suggested use some of repair tools.

VFP Native database is not the most unbreakable database. Remember that file format comes from 198x.
When I used CLIPPER I tried to avoid MEMO fields at all costs (CLIPPER MEMO was even most unreliable fields that VFP ones).

If you look in your project file you will see that ALL you have is a bunch of DBFs with MEMOs even PJX is DBF.
When I open y project and need to restart my computer (no matter for what reason, usually external from VFP) , with RESET button, not from shutdown, then my project file becomes corrupted, just because it was opened before I restart.

The only thing normal about database guys is their tables.
