I can imagine there may be hundreds of thousands of smart kids out there, who will gladly seize the opportunity to get some of their money back from Microsoft - which probably already happened.
As for the quality of the search engine, I know I never found anything (but empty sales pitch) on Microsoft's websites by using it; googling Microsoft usually yields better results and is far faster.
