Borislav, I tried to get SYS(12) changed while at MS but it was a low priority. The intent of that function was to measure available RAM in the DOS environment.
>>When I right mouse click on My Computer on the General tab I see that I have 1.50 GB of RAM installed. How can I get that information via an API or other method? The MEMORY() and some other SYS() functions did not return the information I desire.

>MEMORY() and SYS(12) are great functions, because you even not have to use them to know what they returns:640 (Oops, sys(12) returns 655369) ALWAYS.
>You could try:
>SYS(1001) but that returns RAM available for VFP.
