Denis,

Yes, no I didn't have a different Version of ISE. You have ISE while I have a Install Shield Developer (ISD).

The ISE is a crippled version of ISD, I recommend to swap over to the full version. ISE is to limited. Anyway, as mentioned before, you do not need Installshied to access the tables. You need ORCA. Google for "ORCA msi" or search msdn.microsoft.com for "Windows Installer SDK"

If you look for the views, they are two levels deep under a menu called start (in my ISD), this menu is nothing then a mirror for the main tree. simple run trough the main menu, somewhere there must be the nodes that you see in the tree.

I think you run in a trap that most folks will have with installshield.

You need to understand system a msi is using to work and enter data on the right places. This is namly the use of components (what is a component, what has to be defined in a component etc.) The "Files .." node is a nice place to look at a setup, but is completely wrong to create one.

Installshield and MSI is nothing you will understand in an instant, it need time tounderstand. Get the SDK, do the examples to get an idea how an msi database works. Then have a look at your ISE setup. ISE is nothing then a way to create a msi database that add some wistles and bells and is a little bit more comfortable then orca. If you will to it right you have to do it the long way, creating components - features - setup types.

Have you tried to create a simple setup with a directory called database to make sure your MSI isn't defect somehow?

>Hmmmm... probably we have diffrent version of ISE.. because I can't find where "properties node".. where SequreCustomProperties located and also.. can't find the Direct Editor..

>When I select database folder.. I can make only rightclick and select "properties" shortcut menu item.. but there nothing usefull .. only permissions for folder.. nothing more.
