It's not just a Latin name slapped on homeopathic work habits; it's a favored diagnose for kids:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attention-Deficit_Disorder. Just look at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attention-deficit_hyperactivity_disorder_treatments#FDA-approved_medicines - the list starts with somewhat diluted amphetamines. Kids are getting these prescribed (in spades, or my sources are liberal and biased) - ADD seems to be at the same level of accuracy when diagnosed, just like that psychic from the other thread. At least honest people are making profits on these drugs, like pharmaceutical houses and health plans, not those drug dealers on the corner.
>The only I had to live according to other people's time tables was in the army - there I learnt to sleep anywhere at a moments notice.
There's that, but I've learned to relax and take power naps only after my first acupuncture treatment, on a completely unrelated matter (kilograms ;). Just give me a piece of carpet and moderate noise about 30 minutes after lunch, for maybe 10 minutes, and I've had my rest.
