Hahaha...yeah. I really enjoyed doing the things we did but I guess I really didn't appreciate it at the time. I look back and think, "Wow!", I wish I had appreciated seeing groups that no longer exist or soaking in the counterculture. I also remember meeting some of the Dem Presidential candidates in 1972 with him - Shirley Chisholm, George McGovern....

My uncle also was the one who got me into music that wasn't exactly Top 20 back then like Pink Floyd and others.

>He sounds like my aunt. She is 5 years older than me and when I was 14-15, she took me to all the parties on the 'hill' in Boulder, CO :o) I must confess, her driving always terrified me though because her car always smelled sweet (cannabis)...

>>I had an uncle 6 years older than me who used to tell my grandparents he was taking me to the library and we'd end up at a concert. He was a closet hippy. I saw the Doors, Yesand several other bands in Miami in the late 60s this way.

>>>I was a kid in the 60s and a teen in the 70s as well, but with 3 older sisters and aunts who were only 4-5 years old than I, I was aware of an awful lot.
