In my case, I am doing something generic from my baseform which will fix the path of teach table in the DE from the Load() event. But, to be able to do that, I have to put AutoOpenTables() to .F. in each of my forms so the baseform Load() event will be able to fix the path and then OpenTables().

Because we can't subclass the DE visually, I can't see how we can use a subclass of the DE without having to fix at least one property in the DE to avoid the default AutoOpenTables() which is .T.
