When I try to start IIS I get a message that "the service failed to start in a timely fashion". I suspect that a customer's security has shoved something down when I VPN into their site which disables my abilty to start IIS. I know that they reset my IE settings to go through their proxy server every time I connect. In the past they have made registry changes for my screen saver and the ability to make time/calendar adjustments. Any ideas where I might start looking for the block to starting IIS?
