Apparently it does not apply to this issue but Wal-Mart has in fact changed some practices in response to negative publicity -- use of illegal workers, forced unpaid overtime, poor health insurance coverage, etc. Wal-Mart is, among other things, a very smart company. It is not in their self-interest to alienate people.
