Yes, you will need to have a record of all the index tags before you do the DELETE TAG. You can store this in a table you develop yourself or use a third party program like SDT. I strongly recommend SDT. It can be included in your program, and handles many other chores as well, including simple procedures for updating a client's tables structures and DBC programmatically.
