I can see these guys doing this for several reasons, all and each of which can be taken as normal (correct me on each that I got wrong):

- they heavily disagree with their own federal government's axiom that the state of Israel can't do anything wrong
- they are on the side of the obvious underdog
- they are on the side of the democratically elected government, therefore legal by all means
- Hamas is not Al Qaida, is not operating abroad, it's at home with its people
- they are on the side of freedom fighters on an occupied/colonized/foreign ruled territory
- they are on the side which pays them, just as they always were

If these guys are illegal, arrest Blackwater.
