Alias People is not found or something along the lines. Once I re-wrote it using self LEFT JOIN to People it worked.

UPDATE. I think I know what the problem was, weird I didn't realize it yesterday. For some reason my home SQL Server installation behaves like it's case sensitive.

Still do you think it's better to avoid such projection and use LEFT JOIN or leave it?
