Hi Rich This may or may not be any help. I am currently making my mind up about re-writing a large program in .NET. I have only ever known Fox and I am not a whizz kid. However I have a book entitled The Ultimate VB.NET and ASP.NET Code Book. I will also be buying Karl Moore's Visual Basic.NET, The Tutorials by the same author ( http://www.apress.com/book/errata/47 ) If the Tutorials one is half as good as the Ultimate Code Book it will send me on my way, this book has hundreds of real world examples and step by step instructions with code included. I guess for me once I make a firm decision I will move the first stone and write a simple General Ledger to get the hang of it. Good luck! John
