Thanks for joining in. But I need 100 on each side of a specific record. No fancy VFP tricks as it needs to be able to do this on multiple backends with a user typing and the process here doing incremental searching. User types "T", pointer goes to first instance of "T" in the table but view grabs 100 before and 100 after where the pointer ended up. User types "h", pointer moves to first instance of "Th" and view grabs 100 before and 100 after the first instance of "Th".
