So I have all the fields I want in the report designer, and have just been playing with and re-running my SQL before I check the results in Report preview.

Just go ahead - you're losing me here. Never liked the Quick reports and Quick screens/forms, ever since dBase II - they always work and never look nice enough for my liking. Most of all, they always look the same. Another obstacle for me - the "Subtotal for" and other style text is in English, so I'd either have to hack the style table, or to do some additional work on the report once it's done. Or write my own wizard :) (this may and may not mean I'll convert the fpd2.6 wizard I had).

BTW, the Quick Report wizard won't let you type any weird fields like Eval(gr) into your group expression, so you'd have to work on it later anyway. You actually made me take a look at what wizard does, and I still don't like it :)
