Didn't know who else to ask this question, so I thought I'd give it a shot here.

Here is what I'm trying to do:
I have a new handheld tablet pc (a sony ux280p). My goal is to start using this thing as my cell phone too.

I've got it all going, but there is one missing piece. The battery on the thing wont last too long if I leave it turned on all the time, and since it's touch screen and has a bunch of buttons on it, sorta makes it hard to carry it around with it on.

Now I've heard of something called "wakeup on lan" - and I *think* there is such a thing in my BIOS on this thing.

So my question is this. Is there a way I can turn on the wakeup on lan thingy, and then put my tablet in standby. Then, if someone calls me, that would send network traffic, and then take the machine out of standby so I know I gotta call? If I could get all this to work like that I would be king of all geeks with my friends! hahaha
