I use Vault and it interacts with the project manager. I don't use scctext at all - I used GKKCompare by Greg. You can find it here. I actually started configuring it to work with Vault as the merge and compare utilty for forms and classes. I have it working where Vault will launch GKKCompare and load the two files to compare (by passing the parameters from Vault) and launch the appropriate method (form, prg, visual class, etc). The problem I ran into was that Vault doesn't let you specify which file to have on the left and which to have on the right and GKKCompare is specific about that (you can't edit both sides simultaneously unless a new version has been released which allows that). There may be cases when you want to take changes in Vault and merge them into your local copy and also take your changes and merge them into the Vault version as well (if someone else has made changes since you downloaded the latest version from Vault because more than one developer is working on the same form for example).

I got busy and left it where it is at. I planned on getting back to it eventually. In the meantime, I 'Get the latest version' from Vault and then compare my edited version with the Vault version (using GKKCompare) and then merge it using GKKCompare as well. When I have the final version I upload it to Vault.

It works pretty well actually. Once you get used to the Vault interface I think you will be happy. It is very easy to track versions. The only issue is not with the uploading of a new version or downloading a version from Vault but with the merging via Vault (launching GKKCompare and having the ability to edit both version, not just the left or right side) as I mentioned.
