It's starting to look like international pressure will in fact force Mr. Mugabe from office. He takes the cake, doesn't he? That election reeked from the time the first results were declared close enough to require a runoff, despite appearances that his challenger had won. Then the most blatant voter intimidation you will ever see. Then, the capper, Mugabe smiling and waving in victory as though he had won a legitimate election. The mystery to me is why the South African leader seems to be standing by him.
