If the Supreme Court says you can't have a total ban, then claiming that limits are just one step on the road to a total ban doesn't work. I think this ruling will end up allowing a lot more gun control laws to be passed.

You need to read more then. The NRA already knows the liberals will try to make regulations too restrictive or too hard. The Supreme Ct will probably look upon that like they did the poll taxes. Chicago and other jurisdictions where they only want cops and criminals to have guns will be getting sued, and soon..
