>>>Liberals don't care about war, because they don't fight. They believe in surrender, at all costs. I'm afraid, I believe in protecting our interests, and doing so before the fact!

>>I'm with you there, pal. But Mike's a great guy and I'm hopeful will see the error of his ways in this particular issue.

>>I find it interesting that liberals constantly have to lash out at anyone who questions their patriotism. Even when it hasn't happened. Perhaps a little insecurity is in play?

>>In a sane, rational world, POW and long-time national security expert McCain would eat Obama for lunch in terms of whom is ready for the White House. But we live in a world where objectivity and insight is defined by cretins like Seymour Hersh.

>I have decided half the U.S. is out of their freakin mind. Then that leaves the Republicans, and most of them let themselves get led around by the likes of "Rockefeller Republicans", and that just leave the other 50%<g>.

More than half, actually, John <g>. I read a striking quote from Ed Rollins, the top Republican strategist, just last night in an article about the waning conservative movement. "If you aren't rich, Southern, or born again, the odds aren't very good that you're Republican," he said. Polls bear out that the U.S. is less conservative than it was even a few years ago. IMO you can definitely point the finger at Bush and Cheney's mismanagement for that.
