One solution would be Re: Detect if PREVIEW was printed Thread #984439 Message #984462 (for Report Behavior 80)

For your other problem you may want to check How to prevent printing from the Print Preview window FAQ #7997 I don't know if the approach still works.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
