I read thru a couple pages of comments to this story on Huffingtonpost. Typically there's a handful of wingnutty trolls who don't understand what the uproar is all about. I didn't spot one person posting in the comments that Seymour was a traitor for writing the story.

The vast majority seem to understand that those working in the govt, who feel that this situation is taking us much further down a dark path, just want to make sure that this story is told of what our govt is doing.

>I think the interview with Seymour Hersh (second link) is a good one, a good addition to what is in his article. Thanks for posting the link.

>>>>>>I am sick and tired of this guy exposing government secret ops are designed to protect our interests.

>>>>>I agree with you that not everything journalists learn should be published. So do the editors and publishers of reputable media. Not sure this story fits in the category of national secrets. Like it or not, this administration's history of lying, obfuscation, and stonewalling is probably a factor in the news media opting to report more of what they do rather than less. Someone needs to tell us the truth.

>>>>Mike/Tamar: I do not dispute the excellence of past investigations and reporting he has done. However, this time, he CROSSED THE LINE.

>>>>I COULD NOT DISAGREE WITH YOU MORE. I wonder if Obama were the one authorizing such actions (and I don't doubt that he will as ALL PRESIDENTS have in the past including your beloved Clinton), if you would take the same stance. I can not believe you put your hatred for the current administration ABOVE THE WELLBEING AND SECURITY OF THIS COUNTRY.
>>>>
>>>>I am really dissappointed.

>>>Like Mike, I haven't read the article, only heard/saw a couple of summaries. But if the administration is doing things that are meant to lead to war in Iran, I want to know, I want Congress to know, I want the world to know.
>>>
>>>I'll look for the article this evening.
