I think that estimate is way off. Maybe more in the realm of 30-40% at the most. I don't know a single couple who signed a pre-nup. It is only typical of the very wealthy where parties want to protect their assets they earned before the marriage. Of course, it could be much higher in California - that place is a world of its own...
