It probably is so now, - but maybe as late as VFP5 (just dug up vfp6 and it used my system level tmp folder) it may have been a problem. I seem to remember that in some versions of Citrix, however, it could happen that multiple users get assigned the same tmp folder - so it may have needed some additional setup, depending on the version.
