Most of the US cell phone providers offer a (free) method for emailing (through SMTP) messages to a cellphone (http://www.notepage.net/smtp.htm). I am using this and it works good, but it is not SMS.

Does anyone have SMS built into their apps?

Google has an SMS option for their calendar to get reminded and I want to find out id it is some thing I can do (and if I can do it for free)

Any links or references on the topic would be appreciated.
