>Two of our clients are having the same issue. They can't run any reports because XFRX doesn't work without the file. I hope Trend Micro fixes it soon.

>>It was a false positive. Trend Micro must have updated their software Sunday sometime and that file was identified as a trojan horse and it was deleted from the network. When I tried to upload another copy of the file, it would show in windows explorer for a few seconds and then it would also disappear. No warning no nothing.

>>We contacted Trend Micro and made them aware of this. The software has an ability to exclude files from their scan, which we did. However, somehow over the weekend this file met their criteria for a virus infected file and deleted it without warning. So if you are running Trend Micro virus software be aware.

We got 4 phone calls from clients yesterday who reported the same problem. These files were distributed on our most recent CD some 6 months ago and there has been no issues with them. Obviously, they are provided to us by the good folks at XFRX (www.eqeus.com).

We downloaded the 30-day free copy of Trend Micro and ran it on one of our computers and sure enough, it reported two of the XFRX dll's as infected with the trojan virus. We are going to send Trend Micro and email today.

We are also going to make them look bad to our users who are relying on this as an anti-virus software provider and now it has rendered part of our application as "broken". They definitely have egg on their face for this one!
