Why you would not simply say, that it is OK in your book to attack a person the way they did and then sent the letters to the employer and then even try to sue the employer for letting the letters be known?

I don't know all the specifics of what you did. I am not an attorney.

However, I do remember from business law classes in college that this is very close to the case presented when they talk about "Contract Interference"

In the particular case that I remember a young woman worked as a hair dresser for a salon. She was dating the owner's son. She broke off the relationship with the son. He continually called and desturbed her at work. As a result, she was fired. She then sued and prevailed against the son for contract interference.

It seems to me the same line of reason holds.

I do think you may have a very legitimate reason to consult an attorney.

As for me, I will not be attending Southwest Fox.
