>>If I allow the user to change the caption for a label control on a form, it would be nice to move the textbox to the right of it so that the label control does not overwrite it (or get overwritten by the textbox). Unfortunately, the width property does not reset if you change the caption (I have tried techniques to get it to reevaluate the width, but what I have tried so far is not working). Can I do this with a combination of fontmetric, txtwidth, or whatever? Probably can - there's always a way with VFP.

Why didn't I think of Visible? Did a quick test and that seems to work. I had tried Refresh already and it did not work. Thanks, Naomi.
