>>Geat real... do you think that the circumstances of that new nation are comparable to today? It is like saying that the bible or koran should still be >followed to the exact written text today? Kill, having multiple wives, adultery, Cutting off hands, etc. BTW, Canada is not the US. Even though a kid >got killed with a gun on a school a few hundred meters away when I was in Toronto it is not even that worse there.

>For one small example, 2 toronto police officers and 3 toronto jail guards were just charged in the conspiracy of running a network of "grow ops". I do not trust the Toronto police force. And they have guns.. lots of them.... and they shot Wade Lawson in the back of the head and arrested the coroner who correctly diagnosed his cause of death.

Again, so wrong. So taking the argument that the police cannot be trusted to carry guns. If so, something should be about that, instead of giving guns to the citizens should they kill themselves. How on earth do you expect to build a safe society with legal guns spread accross all the citizens? Why do you think the safest countries in the world have strict gun control?

And we did pay a much, much higher price for our liberty through the historical battlefields of europe.
